Our dental implant surgery process generally requires four visits to our office.
The first step of any dental implant procedure is to meet the dentist. Dr. Hamarnah wants to meet you and learn what your goals are for your smile. Whether you want full mouth dental implants, implant-supported dentures or simply need to replace one or two missing teeth, the team at Winter Haven Dental is proud to help you get the smile you deserve! We use Cone Beam CT scans and Primescan from DENTSPLY to get the clearest view of your mouth and guide your surgery.
On the day of your dental implant surgery, Dr. Hamarnah will provide general sedation for a pain-free visit. During this procedure, Dr. Hamarnah will install the zirconia posts for your dental implants. You’ll leave the office that same day with a new temporary set of teeth, allowing you to eat and smile until you receive your final implants.
Digital diagnostics are a critical part of any dental treatment. At Winter Haven Dental, we use digital X-rays to get a high-resolution image to make sure everything is healing and that your jaw’s swelling has gone down.
Once everything in your mouth is settled, which is typically around the six-month mark, you’ll come back in to get your final dental implants. This part of the tooth implant process is by far the most satisfying, as you’ll walk out of our office with a brand-new permanent smile that’s customized just for you, able to eat an unlimited diet!
